This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Breast Cancer Care Team, which was established in 2000 as the first multidisciplinary team to take care of cancer patients. To commemorate this milestone, a breast cancer conference is being held on the 24th and 25th October at the Verdala Palace. A number of international speakers, world authorities in their fields, will present recent advances in their respective disciplines including Surgery, Radiology, Oncology and Pathology. Several local speakers will also be in attendance, both well-known professionals whose job it will be to give a more lighthearted slant to the conference and young and upcoming specialists.
